Contract officially signed at the K-Show 2022
Vitopel do Brasil (“Vitopel”), the largest BOPP film producer in Brazil, announced a transformative 3-year Capex investment plan to upgrade its BOPP production lines to enhance its capacity and capabilities to service its customer base.
During the 2022 K-show in Germany, Vitopel signed an agreement with Brückner Servtec for the first phase of Vitopel’s investment plan that encompasses a comprehensive Integrated Process Control (“IPC”) upgrade to its BOPP lines. The second phase of the investment plan, which will be announced shortly, will result in Vitopel upgrading its production lines from producing 3-layer films to 5-layer films, as well as increasing its primary slitter capacity, and several other additional technological improvements across its equipment base.
The upgrades to Vitopel’s facilities started in 2021 and are expected continue throughout 2024. Execution of the 3-year investment plan is a key pillar of Vitopel’s Industry 4.0 & OEE strategies.
