#GOBGU – BRUECKNER GROUP USA CUSTOMER DAYS 2023

Brueckner Group USA had a very rewarding Customer Days event. With over 200 customers and friends joining us for the celebration of our new North American Headquarters and Customer Innovation Center, we couldn’t be more fortunate with the success of the event. The two-day gathering consisted of live machine demonstrations and industry expert presentations.

Day One

Day one of the event started off with the ribbon cutting ceremony to authenticate the grand opening of our new headquarters. Brueckner Group was able to share this monumental moment with an extensive group of our amazing and committed customers.

Following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, we transitioned into our industry expert presentations held in the large Customer Area of the building – which looks out onto our Customer Innovation Center. The presentations began with Brückner Group CEO, Axel von Wiedersperg who spoke about “Adapting to a Changing World”. Next, we heard from Hery Henry from Wipak – the Group Head of Brand & Sustainability, about WiPack becoming the first carbon neutral packaging company in five years, and how to achieve it! Very motivational for other companies to follow their path of sustainability.

Continuing in the realm of sustainability the next presentation was from Matt Seaholm, the President, and CEO of the Plastics Industry Association. He updated the audience in regards to regulation and the environment within the industry. Our last and final speaker of day one was Tasmin Ettefagh, Chief Sustainability Officer & EVP Commercial from PureCycle. She hooked us on the importance of advanced mechanical recycling of PP using a dissolution process! Our first day speakers went above and beyond expectations and kept the large audience very engaged.

Towards the afternoon, we moved on to our live machine demonstrations, that were located in our brand-new Customer Innovation Center. Here we were able to supply customers with a physical demonstration and experience, that allows them to see what these machines really offer in their favor. Our customers are the most important part of our business. By implementing this new Customer Innovation Center within our North American headquarters, we offer a unique opportunity to bring value and meaning to our customers through the access of these machines within the United States. With a growing emphasis on having machines and manufacturing capabilities located in North America, we are able to foster an innovative and collaborative experience. The enthusiasm we all shared during these demonstrations was truly inspiring to witness.

We had demonstrations from our KARO 5.0 Lab Stretcher, Digital Twin Demo, KMD 78.2 Speed Thermoformer, Natureformer KFT Lab, DecoMat RS, Naturefromer KFT90 Advanced Version, and KTR 5.2 Speed Thermoformer.

The nighttime became fun and active with a celebratory dinner at Jimmy’s Jazzy and Blues Club. Everyone gathered for drinks, live music, and a wonderful buffet arrangement.

Day Two

As the second day commenced, an increasing number of individuals joined us! We started out with many more industry expert presentations. We had speakers from Footprint, NOVA Chemicals, Renolit, Origin Materials, Inteplast Group, MRPSolutions, Van Dam Machine Group B.V., WiPak, PolyCine GmbH, American Starlinger-Sahm Inc., PepsiCo, Fusion Packaging, Kiefel, ENTEK, Webineering, Xheme Inc., CNG INC., Bobst, Boyd Biomedical, Process Cooling Systems, Inc., Brückner Maschinenbau, and Peyer Foils! All the speakers excelled and did a fantastic job educating their audience.

As the presentations came to end, we had a late afternoon buffet lunch once again. People were able to enjoy a nice meal and converse about the presentations they had just listened to. Our day moved along to more machine demonstrations in our Customer Innovation Center. It was a great way to end the event.

We are so thankful for all our customers and friends that came to this event. Not only to witness the opening of our new headquarters – but to also gain a better understanding of the industry we serve, and how we serve it. We appreciate your willingness to learn and witness our growth with us. We hope to see everyone again very soon!
