Various highlights of recyclable mono-material packaging solutions
At Interpack 2023 from 04. to 10.05. in Düsseldorf the members of the Brückner Group are present on a joint booth in hall 8a, C57. Brückner Maschinenbau will focus on various highlights of recyclable mono-material packaging solutions, developed in cooperation with leading raw material producers, plastics machinery manufacturers, packaging companies and brand owners. Come and get more information on:
- A film made of highly crystalline PP was developed on the Brückner pilot plant, using simultaneous stretching technology, which also survives the very demanding sterilisation process and guarantees a high barrier. In combination with CPP, a non-recyclable composite of PET-alufoil-PE can thus be replaced for highly specialised applications.
- BOPET films can also be equipped for pure PET mono-material packaging. For example, peelable lidding films for A-PET trays that even consist of up to 90% r-PET material have been developed at Brückner’s technology center.
- BOPE films offer completely new possibilities: BOPE-HD film in laminate with a classic PE-LD blown film or BOPE-HD for opaque packaging without coating. Novel thermoforming or tube applications also open up.
- Biopolymers: Together with Pepsico numerous trials on the Brückner pilot line took place to achieve the goal of a sustainable food packaging concept, being beneficial for the environment. Samples to be shown at the booth!
