The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science. Its focus is to globally expedite companies to achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.
By joining the SBTi, Kiefel has committed to set near- and long-term company-wide emission reductions in line with climate science and deploy further company-wide climate protection measures.

By committing to set a net-zero target, we have also become part of the Race to Zero Campaign, the UN-backed global commitment in which companies, cities, regions, financial, educational, and healthcare institutions get together to implement immediate measures to halve global emissions by 2030 in line with the Paris Agreement.
