On 3 June, 2013, PackSys Global employees from the Oberburg office officially start work in their new office in Burgdorf, Switzerland.
After 173 years in Oberburg, PackSys Global is moving to new offices and a manufacturing facility in Burgdorf. Located in Buchmattstrasse 4A, Burgdorf, the new office has excellent public transportation links and easy access to the A1/E25 highway.
With almost 1000 m2, the new facility is located in an energy-efficient building. The company is also taking this opportunity to modernize its operations as well, recycling at least 70% of all paper and material, since information is now stored on computer databases.
PackSys Global in Burgdorf designs, offers and services the company’s range of plastic and metal cap and closure equipment. It is the only company today able to supply complete lines for the production of metal caps including first draw, redrawing, side decoration, roll-forming, top and side embossing, side shaving as well as wad, liner and plastic pourer inserting.
