Latest portfolio expansion under the motto of “quality first”
From purely a metallizing and coating company back in 1993, Vacmet India has emerged as a leading producer of oriented polypropylene, polyester films and specialty coated films in India. To further expand their already well-established European business, Vacmet has now decided to build up their BOPET and BOPP capacities at their Central India plant at Indore. Vacmet decided to team up with Brückner again, for the first time also in BOPET. This is a clear sign of confidence that Brückner’s technology fits for Vacmet`s high demands: excellent optical and physical film properties and the line’s ability to also produce films in very thin gauges for new, special markets.
Mr. Dinesh Chand Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director Vacmet India Limited, is confident with Brückner delivering sturdy BOPET lines, manufacturing high quality films without compromising productivity.
Mr. Rahul Agarwal, Director Operations, says: “During the very smooth execution of our two BOPP film lines we really established a very good and mutual rewarding partnership with Brückner. But we are not only convinced of Brückner’s commissioning skills – we also have a common understanding when it comes to production reliability and film quality.”
Highlights of the renewed cooperation:
From an initial production capacity of 1,200 tons per annum in 1993, Vacmet is slated to reach to 2,50,000 metric tons with addition of these capacities. Headquartered at Agra, India, Vacmet has five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and a wholly owned subsidiary in the UK with more than 1,400 employees at its plants at Mathura, Kosi & Indore. Vacmet has customers around the globe and manufactures diversified range of materials for application in packaging, industrial, textiles, labelling, medical and security. Vacmet plants are ISO, BRC and OHSAS certified.
