Chinese BOPPK film producer Nantong Bison resumes production thanks to Brückner Servtec's help
Nantong Bison Electronic New Material Co., Ltd., a Chinese capacitor film manufacturer, demonstrated their resilience and commitment to excellence, as a major fire between extrusion and transverse direction orienter unit (TDO) tragically destroyed large parts of one existing production line. A major challenge in times of good market conditions for technical films in the electronics industry.
Naturally, Nantong Bison’s time pressure was now great for recommissioning their capacitor line – and in their need they asked Brückner Servtec for help. Project Manager Gerald Huber remembers: “Our scope for upgrade and service essentially included the newest line operating software, a state-of-the-art extensive peripheral hardware and functional mechanical assemblies. It was clear that we had to go the famous Servtec extra mile for all that – especially because the set time frame was very demanding.”
To make matters worse, when the project started, there were severe supply bottlenecks in Europe. Only with the bundling of all Brückner global forces it was finally possible to deliver most of the components even earlier than planned. The line’s assembly and commissioning took place within the framework of a simultaneous relocation of the complete capacitor film plant. This was an additional challenge for the teams of Brückner Servtec and their colleagues from Brückner Group China. But finally, the line smoothly started on schedule.
Xu Peichang, owner of Nantong Bison, was overjoyed: “We thank the Brückner team so much! It has been such a big challenge to all of us to bring our line back to production mode after the fire accident and relocation! We really appreciate the great cooperation between our teams from the beginning of the project until installation and commissioning onsite. We want to continue this fantastic partnership with further service assignments, upgradings as well as new projects.”
