Jiangsu Shenda Group is moving forward in the production of current collector film | 江苏申达集团正在向规模化生产集流体基膜方向推进
Shenda Group is not only a leading BO film producer in China but is also known for many years for being a pioneer in new film applications. Every step within the Group’s strategic development has also been a milestone for the development of China’s BO film industry. Two examples: The largest tobacco film production line in the early 90s or Brückner ’s first 2 gap stretching MDO coming along with a 8.2m wide BOPET production line.
And now, Shenda Group is once again at the forefront, being the first film producer worldwide to install a BO film production line for current collector film technology. Ultra-thin current collector films made of BOPET are a high-end material which can significantly improve the performance of various applications in the field of new energy, such as batteries, super capacitors or photovoltaic cells.
Zhang Guoping, President of Shenda Group says: “We are quite confident that in cooperation with our strategic partner Brückner and with the strong support of Jiangdu District Party Committee and the government of Yangzhou, our newly formed daughter company Yangzhou Boheng New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd. will be able to provide an important impetus for China’s entire current collector film industry.”
